Xi02 operates a privacy-first creator workflow and visual signal platform that integrates with the official Pinterest API through OAuth authorization. This privacy policy describes how xi02 collects, uses, and protects information when users connect their own Pinterest accounts to manage boards, pins and personal inspiration.

Information We Collect

When a user connects a Pinterest account through OAuth, we only access content the user has authorized — including boards, pins, descriptions, images, and hashtags — for the sole purpose of personal content organization, inspiration management and creative workflow support.

We do NOT collect:

• Personal information of other Pinterest users
• Private boards or non-public content beyond what the user has authorized
• User login credentials or passwords
• Location data or device identifiers

How We Use Information

Authorized content is used exclusively for:

• Personal board and pin organization
• Inspiration management and creative workflow support
• Structured retrieval of the user's own saved content

We do not sell, share, or transfer authorized content to third parties. All organization happens on the user's own behalf, within their authorized scope.

Data Storage and Security

• Xi02 does not permanently store raw Pinterest API content
• Any temporary processing cache is limited to operational handling and is not used to build a long-term Pinterest dataset
• OAuth access tokens are stored encrypted; client secrets and tokens are never committed to public repositories
• No Pinterest-derived data is sold, rented, licensed, or shared with third parties

• Cloud storage for data processing

Initial API Scopes

On first connection, xi02 requests only the minimum Pinterest scopes required to read and organize a user's own saved content:

• user_accounts:read — to identify the connected account
• boards:read — to read the user's own boards
• pins:read — to read the user's own pins

No write scopes, no engagement scopes, and no advanced scopes are requested at initial application.

User Control

• Users explicitly connect their Pinterest account through OAuth
• Users can revoke xi02's access at any time from their Pinterest account settings
• Xi02 does not perform automated posting, saving, following, commenting, or engagement actions without user confirmation

What xi02 Is Not

For clarity, xi02 is explicitly not positioned as, and does not provide, any of the following:

• A Pinterest trend intelligence platform
• A market research database
• A competitor benchmarking product
• A platform-wide or cross-account analytics tool

Xi02 does not aggregate, benchmark, or compare Pinterest-derived data across accounts, brands, or competitors.
